Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector for maintenance work in the Pasadena, TX area. The role focuses on inspecting, accepting, or rejecting work in compliance with codes and specifications and supporting the company’s QA/QC program.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years welding experience, OSHA/HA orientation, and the ability to perform audits, maintain records, and coordinate corrective actions on site.

Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in all aspects of welding.
• Hazard Communication orientation/test.
• Turner Industries indoctrination.
• OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87).
• Job site orientation.
• Job site safety requirements as required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications.
• Develops understanding of the quality control program and company standards; performs inspections and witnesses tests.
• Performs audits to ensure QA/QC compliance; defines corrective measures and ensures implementation.
• Maintains inspection and related records; ensures accuracy of documents; performs additional assignments as required.
