Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, seeks a Manufacturing Quality Assembly Technician to support manufacturing operations, audit processes, and investigate non-conformances on the floor. You will escalate quality issues to quality engineers and management and ensure timely corrective actions.

The role emphasizes real-time issue prevention, SOP adherence, and collaboration with In-Process Quality Control teams. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform Daily Audits for Quality and Compliance.
• Monitor all production areas for customer requirements, proper SOP, tool compliance and other process & quality issues.
• Report feedback on quality or process compliance issues to quality engineers and management.
• Ensure all tools and resources are in working order.
• Drive root cause analysis of any quality issues reported by assembly operations.
• Document and upload investigation findings in JIRA.
• Identify potential issues and drive preventive actions on a real-time basis.
• Ensure corrective actions affecting quality are completed on a timely basis.
• Perform pilot build audits for each new product SKU.
• Create product-specific inspection guides based on known issues from vendor or customer feedback, or ZT investigations.
• Manage/escalate issues impacting quality and communicate to In-Process Quality Control inspectors, leads and Supervisor / managers.
• Create time-sensitive quality alerts for process gaps and inspections & drive SOP improvements.
• Create Quality Incidents (QI) for supplier quality issues and monitor multiple tickets for updates from supplier quality engineering.

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations. They identify and escalated quality issues seen on the manufacturing floor. ZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be around $22.50 hourly. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
