Job summary

Polyventive is seeking a Quality Control Lab Support Technician to maintain quality assurance, consistency, and fitness of use for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. You will close and track work orders, prep shipments, and support QC lab operations with records and basic testing.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or higher, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with QA principles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher; lab or medical experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication/team skills.
• At least one year in a quality oriented or data entry position preferred.
• Some secondary education (Business science) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong observation skills and ability to resolve issues timely.
• Ability to deal positively with changing priorities.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Represents Polyventive in a professional and courteous manner.

Summary: The Quality Control Lab Support Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance, consistency, conformity, and general fitness of use of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for closing and tracking work orders, printing, delivering or applying labels to containers to prep for early AM shipments to customers and inter-site.
• Support for QC lab operations including record keeping, filing and possibly basic quality testing.
• Operate state of the art analytical equipment.
• Maintain laboratory hygiene and safety
• Work with Commercial Team and Customer Service to send out requested product samples (SC)

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Education
• To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility in a satisfactory manner through individual effort or effective and appropriate collaboration. Additionally, the well-qualified candidate will have the following education and experience:
• High school diploma or higher education and some advanced education preferred but, not required in lieu of experience in lab or medical setting and or a combination of education and training.
• 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication/team skills
• At least one year in a quality oriented or data entry position (packaging, laboratory testing, logistics, customer service, medical) preferred.
• Some secondary education (Business science) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Strong observation skills and willingness to consult with others to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ability to deal positively with changing priorities
• Proficient with computer applications

Work Environment

Work is typically performed in an inside, temperature-controlled environment. Works and travels throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity, and wears personal protective equipment, as required.
