Polyventive is seeking a Quality Control Lab Support Technician to maintain quality assurance and the conformity of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in a lab setting.

The role involves handling work orders, labeling, record keeping, operating analytical equipment, and ensuring a clean, compliant lab environment while coordinating with sales and customer service for sample distribution.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or higher education; lab or medical experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality-oriented or lab setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with computer applications and data entry.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Quality Control Lab Support Technician is responsible for maintaining quality assurance, consistency, conformity, and general fitness of use of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following; however, other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for closing and tracking work orders, printing, delivering or applying labels to containers to prep for early AM shipments to customers and inter-site.
  • Support for QC lab operations including record keeping, filing and possibly basic quality testing.
  • Operate state of the art analytical equipment.
  • Maintain laboratory hygiene and safety
  • Work with Commercial Team and Customer Service to send out requested product samples (SC)
Essential Qualifications and Skills

To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility in a satisfactory manner through individual effort or effective and appropriate collaboration. Additionally, the well-qualified candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • High school diploma or higher education and some advanced education preferred but, not required in lieu of experience in lab or medical setting and or a combination of education and training.
  • 3+ years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication/team skills
  • At least one year in a quality oriented or data entry position (packaging, laboratory testing, logistics, customer service, medical) preferred.
  • Some secondary education (Business science) or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Strong observation skills and willingness to consult with others to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Ability to deal positively with changing priorities
  • Proficient with computer applications
  • Represents Polyventive in a professional and courteous manner
Work Environment

Work is typically performed in an inside, temperature-controlled environment. Works and travels throughout plant environment of varied temperatures and humidity, and wears personal protective equipment, as required. Various operations in the plant generate noise, dust, vapor and fumes in the normal course of production.
