Job summary

Coating Place, Inc. in Verona, WI is seeking a QC Supervisor - Raw Materials to lead the RM team and coordinate analyses for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or industrial materials.

You will ensure adherence to internal procedures and GMP practices while supporting production and formulations teams. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, prioritizing workloads, validating methods, and performing analyses with HPLC, GC, UV, and wet chemistry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment.
• Understanding of USP, ICH, and FDA guidelines related to qualification activities.
• Proven supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Strong time management with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with team, vendors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Mentors, trains, and supervises the Raw Materials team.
• Prioritize workload and provide status updates.
• Coordinate analytical activities with reports and communications.
• Prepare SOPs and analytical methods.
• Conduct method validations, transfers, and verifications.
• Oversee testing (HPLC, GC, UV, and wet chemistry).
• Support scientists and troubleshoot analyses.
• Ensure GMP/regulatory compliance and lab upkeep.
• Participate in annual performance reviews and related activities.
