Job summary

Lonza in Stein, Switzerland is seeking a skilled QC Lab Technician to support release and stability testing under cGMP. You will perform routine analyses (ELISA, HPLC, iCIEF, UV-VIS, CE-SDS) and participate in method validation and transfer activities to enable implementation.

The role is fully site-based, requiring hands-on work and collaboration within a fast-paced project environment. English fluency is required; German is a plus; relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Quality Control within GMP environments.
• Hands-on experience with ELISA, HPLC or iCIEF; experience with multiple methods preferred.
• Experience in analytical method validation and method transfer is a plus.
• Apprenticeship as Lab technician, Bachelor, Master or equivalent in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute release and stability testing under cGMP according to SOPs (e.g. compendial testing/identity/purity for biologics).
• Document assay execution under cGMP following GDP and report observations to supervisor.
• Perform operational lab tasks (mobile phase prep, equipment calibration, 6S, consumables management).
• Support validation and transfer activities for new project introductions.
• Contribute to investigations/troubleshooting for assigned tasks.
• Assist in authoring cGMP documents (SOPs, CAPAs, quality records).
