Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a detail-oriented analytical lab professional to join a small QC team testing inorganic materials with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, Karl Fischer, auto titrator, TGA-DSC, UV-VIS, and oxygen analyzer. You will prepare samples, perform tests, analyze data, and guide decision-making for experiments and finished goods produced on site.

Role requires 4+ years in analytical labs, Bachelor's in chemistry or life sciences, and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015; SAP and MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Life Science.
• 4+ years of analytical lab experience.
• Familiarity with SAP preferred.
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge preferred.
• Experience in a multi-product environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Business acumen and safety awareness.
• Proficiency with analytical tools, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and method development.
• Data integrity discipline and basic database/MS Office skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical testing of inorganic materials using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, Karl Fischer, auto titrator, TGA-DSC, UV-VIS, and oxygen analyzer.
• Prepare samples, run tests, analyze data, and make usage decisions for various stages of production.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and company guidelines.
• Communicate with departments to ensure on-time QC lab deliverables.
• Collaborate with QC staff and develop procedures as needed.
• Compute chemical calculations and unit conversions.
• Investigate Out of Specification results and customer quality complaints.
• Lead projects and drive process improvements with safety and regulatory considerations.
• Administer QC ERP functions and data transfers.
