Job summary

MilliporeSigma in the United States seeks an Associate Production Scientist - Analytical Development to perform analytical testing in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

You will execute established analytical methods, transfer methods into site QC/analytical development, maintain instrumentation, and support operational needs with data reporting and collaboration at project meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline.
• ,

Responsibilities

• Execute established analytical methods in support of process development or site production.
• Transfer external or internal analytical methods into site QC / analytical development.
• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
• Basic analytical method development supporting site operational needs.
• Analytical representation at project meetings.
• Maintain databases, document work for internal / external communication of experimental outcomes.
• Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline

High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of work experience in chemical production, laboratory or chemical engineering role
