Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions is seeking a QC Sample Management - Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Rensselaer, NY for a full-time role. You will supervise sample handling, storage, and documentation in LIMS, deliver samples to QC laboratories, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding a team in a fast‑paced testing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
• Minimum of three years leadership experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• cGMP experience required.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Candidates within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Verification of sample submissions to Quality Control.
• Documentation of sample transactions in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Handling, storage, and organization of samples.
• Delivering samples to QC laboratories for testing as required.
• Interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups.
• Fulfilling sample pull requests.
• Compliance with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
• Conducting temperature, environmental, and/or CO2 monitoring.
• Preparation of samples for shipment.
• Performing sample inventory and disposal.
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs; reports any quality or other anomalies through the Deviation Notification and Resolution system.
• Leading direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities.
• Disseminate administrative communications.
• Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
• Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity.
• Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Coordinate scheduling and allocation of responsibilities, and new hire on-boarding process.
• Coordinates training program.
• Development of teambuilding strategies and initiatives.
