Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a QC/Safety Manager to support a major federal construction project. The role administers the Quality Control Program and supports site safety compliance throughout all phases.

The on-site lead reviews submittals, coordinates testing and inspections, maintains records, and collaborates with Government representatives and project staff to ensure contract requirements are met. Experience with federal installations, EM 385-1-1 knowledge, and OSHA 30-hour certification are

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction QA/QC and safety management.
• Experience reviewing and approving construction submittals and related documentation.
• Familiarity with federal construction standards and inspection/testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer the project Quality Control Program per contract requirements.
• Review and approve subcontractor and supplier submittals and test data.
• Conduct QC and safety inspections; prepare inspection and deficiency reports.
• Coordinate material testing, special inspections, and third-party testing services.
• Maintain accurate field records and as-built documentation for closeout.
• Interface with Government QA personnel, design teams, and project staff.
