Job summary

Olgoonik Corporation, an Equal Opportunity Employer, seeks a QC/Safety Manager for a multi-year NIH construction project. The role focuses on managing the Quality Control and Safety Program on site and enforcing project safety goals.

You will prepare QC reports, conduct field inspections, coordinate with project managers, review subcontractor submittals, and ensure as-built drawings are up to date while maintaining OSHA-compliant practices and the company safety program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field.
• 5 years of Quality Control and/or Safety experience.
• Experience on multi-million-dollar construction programs.
• Knowledge of JOC or SABER is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Quality Control and Safety Program for NIH project.
• Enforce company goals related to quality and safety.
• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives to meet customer specifications and guidelines.
• Plan, promote, and organize on-site meetings related to quality and safety.
• Prepare QC reports, conduct field inspections, and manage QC inspectors and coordination with government inspectors.
• Coordinate field work with project managers.
• Review subcontractor materials, submittals, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Ensure red line (as-built) drawings are up to date in the field.
• Maintain and administer the company’s Safety Program and ensure safe field practices.
• Direct and supervise the quality control program.
