Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a QC/Safety Manager for a multi-year construction project. You will manage and administer the Quality Control and Safety Program for the NIH project, enforcing quality and safety goals on site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in construction, 5+ years in QC or safety, and experience with multi-million-dollar programs. OSHA training is required; related certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field.
• 5+ years of Quality Control and/or Safety experience.
• Experience with multi-million-dollar construction programs.
• Ability to influence employees and subcontractors to support QC programs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Quality Control and Safety Program for NIH project.
• Enforce company goals related to quality and safety.
• Formulate and maintain quality control objectives to meet customer specifications and guidelines.
• Plan, promote, and organize on-site meetings related to quality and safety.
• Prepare QC reports, perform field inspections, conduct tests, and coordinate with inspectors.
• Coordinate field work with project managers.
• Review subcontractor materials, submittals and shop drawings for compliance.
• Maintain up-to-date red-line (as-built) drawings in the field.
• Maintain and administer the Safety Program and ensure safe field practices.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control program.
• Supervise QC Inspectors.
