Job summary

Lilly is building an advanced API manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This role provides technical leadership within the QC laboratory, guiding analytical methods, systems, and testing capabilities while influencing cross‑functional teams.

Lead Process Analytics Technology (PAT) and QC automation, partnering with Manufacturing, Automation/Engineering, and Digital teams to integrate analyzers and lab systems in a startup‑like environment. Compensation is substantial and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• 5+ years of GMP pharmaceutical lab experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the QC laboratory and testing methods.
• Lead PAT site roadmap and integration of inline/online analyzers.
• Oversee QC automation initiatives (LIMS/LES, robotics) and data integrity.
• Resolve complex QC challenges across multiple disciplines.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, Regulatory, and Product Development.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GDP, ALCOA+, and cGMP.
• Support regulatory inspections and audits.
