Standard Process Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a QC Microbiology Technician to perform basic microbiology tasks, test products and environmental swabs, and prepare reagents. The role supports GMP/GLP documentation, instrument calibration, and inventory management in a professional laboratory setting.

The position is full-time with potential weekend/holiday work as needed. Education includes a 2-year Associate Lab degree preferred and/or related experience; entry-level candidates are welcome.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma required; 2-year Associate Science Lab degree preferred.
• Up to 1 year of experience; entry level position.
• Experience in a Quality Control environment is a plus.

• Perform basic microbiology tasks such as weighing samples for testing and pH’ing of samples.
• Test products and environmental swabs for bacteria (coliforms, E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Listeria).
• Test products for allergens (Gluten, etc.).
• Generate GMP & GLP documentation for quality control.
• Perform instrument calibration including daily pipette and scale calibrations.
• Maintain inventory of microbiology supplies.
• Verify product safety.
• Prepare reagents for various assays.
• Perform organoleptic testing on products.
• Sample environmental swabs, products or raw materials as needed.
• Perform Lab functions in a timely matter.
• Help with daily incubator checks and cleaning as needed.
