Job summary

Standard Process Inc. is seeking a Sanitor for the 3rd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will clean and sanitize plant equipment, production areas, and surfaces using cleaning systems and basic hand tools, while ensuring proper chemical labeling and safety practices.

The role operates on a 4-day work week, 8:00 pm–6:30 am, Monday to Thursday, with a $2 shift premium on top of base pay. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of manufacturing or sanitation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred.
• Experience in industrial sanitation operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation & Cleaning: clean ancillary equipment and production areas thoroughly and safely.
• Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained; use foamer and floor scrubbers.
• Ensure chemicals are properly labeled, stored, and used according to guidelines.
• Assist in developing and improving sanitation standard operating procedures.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, walls, floors, and tables within our production departments. The Sanitor works independently near heavy machinery, in tight and high spaces, and with strong cleaning chemicals.
