Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance leader to oversee microbiology lab systems and ensure regulatory compliance across the quality program. You will manage the Environmental Monitoring Program and develop practices to meet customer and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include collaboration with validation and maintenance teams, ensuring proper testing and records, and driving continuous improvement in quality and safety for products and services.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related science field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with equipment qualification, software validation, and environmental monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversees microbiology laboratory systems to ensure data meet applicable regulations and policies.
• Maintains the Environmental Monitoring Program.
• Develops and applies practices to meet customer and regulatory standards in a cost-effective fashion.
• Collaborates with validation and maintenance regarding lab equipment conformance.
• Ensures testing and records are evaluated and discrepancies are investigated and resolved.
