Job summary

BioTissue, Inc. seeks a Manager of Quality Control Microbiology to oversee microbiology testing and environmental monitoring in the Clean Room and related areas. You will trend EM data, investigate Quality Events, OOSs, and CAPAs, and lead training in aseptic techniques and gowning.

The role requires 5–7 years in GMP microbiology with 1–2 years in management, plus strong leadership and communication. It offers a path to impact product release and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or related field.
• 5–7 years of microbiology experience in GMP operations and/or quality operations.
• 1–2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; align with BioTissue values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily microbiology operations including scheduling, training, environmental monitoring, and EM sample incubation.
• Lead trend analysis of EM data and investigations related to Quality Events, OOSs, non-conformances, CAPAs and change controls.
• Manage training programs for gowning qualifications, aseptic techniques and EM.
• Support audits as SME for environmental monitoring and QMS compliance.
• Review microbiology testing requirements to ensure regulatory and company procedures for product release.
