Job summary

Legend Biotech, based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, is seeking a Supervisor, QC Microbiology in Raritan, NJ to lead the quality control microbiology labs supporting cell therapy manufacturing.

Responsibilities include staff development, training, and performance management; approving test data; and driving method verification, validation, and investigations while ensuring cGMP compliance. Strong collaboration with QA, Manufacturing, and Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience; leadership experience required.
• Experience in aseptic manufacturing and cell therapy preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and FDA/EU guidance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QC microbiology lab operations and staff.
• Oversee training, qualifications, and performance management.
• Review laboratory data and ensure compliance with cGMP.
• Plan daily activities and manage budgeting.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Maintenance.
