Job summary

bioMérieux SA is seeking a laboratory technician to support aseptic testing of disposable cards and to perform environmental monitoring in a production environment. The role involves set-up of Vitek cards, sample preparation, and strict documentation to comply with cGMP and procedures.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years in a microbiology or clinical lab, with preferred 4-year biology/microbiology degree and experience with VITEK systems and TECAN automation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience working in a microbiology or clinical laboratory.
• A 4-year degree in biology, microbiology, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test products as scheduled per procedures and specifications.
• Set up and perform physical inspection of products per procedures and specifications.
• Label cages to note status of product for disposition and manage reserve samples.
• Unpack, maintain, and organize laboratory supplies/inventory.
• Collect and test Environmental Monitoring samples from production areas.
• Utilize and maintain automated systems for sample preparation and testing.
