Job summary

IP Corporation in South Bend, IN is seeking a QC Lab Technician to perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications. The role supports Production and Quality teams, reports findings, and maintains calibration and lab records in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has an associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Materials Science, 0–3 years of lab experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control role preferred.
• Experience in chemical or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow standardized testing procedures.
• Basic data analysis and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Follow standard test methods and procedures to ensure accurate results
• Record and analyze test data and report findings
• Verify that products meet quality specifications and standards
• Support troubleshooting and investigation of quality issues
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Document results and maintain accurate lab records
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Communicate results and issues to Production and Quality teams
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
