Job summary

Ortec Inc. in Piedmont, SC is seeking a QC Technician to support routine laboratory tasks including calibrations, raw material sampling, and environmental monitoring.

You will assist with basic wet bench testing and maintain accurate logs and documentation in a cGMP environment. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma with 1+ year chemical manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and LIMS.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma with 1+ years of chemical manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of chemical safety and ISO/FDA environment preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Perform routine QC Lab instrument calibrations and verifications
• Sampling of raw materials for QC Lab testing and release
• Sampling and analysis for Environmental Monitoring
• Maintain QC Lab logs and documentation per SOPs
• Prepare standards and reagents for QC Lab analysis
• Conduct wet bench testing including pH, viscometers, FTIR, UV-VIS, TOC, Melting Point
• Ensure data integrity and GMP documentation
• Support audits and regulatory readiness
