Job summary

Astrix is seeking an Entry-Level Quality Control Lab Technician - Chemistry in Walton County, GA to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical QC. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career scientists looking to build a long-term career in the pharma industry.

You'll perform analytical testing, document results, follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines, and work with a collaborative team on process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required.
• Experience in analytical laboratory and GMP/FDA environment.
• Familiar with LCMS, HPLC, GC, ICPMS or UV instrumentation and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test and analyze pharmaceutical products throughout manufacturing.
• Perform laboratory procedures including pipetting and testing.
• Document results and enter data into laboratory systems.
• Follow SOPs, FDA, and cGMP guidelines.

Pay: $25-$27/hour

Location: Walton County, GA

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule (12:00 PM - 12:30 AM)

Contract: 6 months with potential for extension

What You'll Do

• Test and analyze pharmaceutical products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform laboratory procedures, including pipetting and analytical testing.
• Document results and enter data into laboratory systems.
• Follow SOPs, FDA, and cGMP guidelines.
• Assist with investigations, laboratory maintenance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with team members to support production and quality goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or another scientific discipline.
• Experience in an analytical laboratory environment.
• Experience working in a GMP/FDA-regulated environment.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation such as LCMS, HPLC, GC, ICPMS, or UV.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation
• Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing laboratory experience.

Additional Information

• Candidates with strong laboratory coursework may be considered even without direct industry experience.
• Strong pipetting skills are the top priority for this role.
• Training will be provided on additional analytical techniques and instrumentation.
