Job summary

IP Corporation in South Bend, IN is seeking a QC Lab Technician to perform lab testing, verify materials, and support quality assurance. The role collaborates with Production and Quality teams to ensure specifications are met and to aid in troubleshooting and compliant operations.

A degree in Chemistry or Materials Science (Associates or Bachelors) is preferred; 0–3 years in a lab environment is ideal. The position is onsite with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control role preferred.
• Experience in chemical or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; follow standard test methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Follow standard test methods and procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Record and analyze test data and report findings.
• Verify that products meet quality specifications and standards.
• Support troubleshooting and investigation of quality issues.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Document results and maintain accurate lab records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Communicate results and issues to Production and Quality teams.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
