Job summary

Actalent is hiring QC Lab Technicians for a chemical manufacturing lab in Rockwall, TX. You will conduct physical and analytical tests on incoming raw materials and finished products, including sealants and lubricants, using methods like pH, titrations and viscosity.

Requirements include an Associate or Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering; familiarity with HPLC, pH meters, and Excel/Word; 1 year QA/QC or fast-paced experience; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work, familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samples.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical and analytical tests on incoming raw materials and finished products such as sealants and lubricants.
• Perform density (air evacuated), alkalinity, titrations, pH and viscosity measurements.
• Support QA/QC processes in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Actalent is now interviewing and hiring QC Lab Technicians for a chemical manufacturing lab in Rockwall, TX!

Description:.

The QC Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting physical and analytical tests on incoming raw materials and finished products such as sealants and lubricants.

A comprehensive list of testing is: Density (air evacuated), Alkalinity, Titrations, pH, and Viscosity

Shift:

6am - 6pm

Skills:

Associates or Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering) NEW GRADS WELCOMED

Lab testing experience with raw materials from school or work - MUST be familiar with pH, viscosity and titrations, HPLC, weighing samples

Excellent computer and math skills - including Excel and Word knowledge

• Minimum 1 year experience of QA/QC experience OR 1 year of work experience in a fast paced role

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockwall, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
