Adare Pharma is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Control Laboratory to oversee QC lab operations in Vandalia, Ohio. The role coordinates testing, instrument reliability, and cross-functional communication to support product release and validation.

The incumbent will lead a team, train staff, and ensure GMP-compliant documentation while optimizing methods and lab throughput. A strong chemistry background and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or closely related field.
• MS in Chemistry or closely related field.
• Experience managing a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Able to work independently on multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Possess computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Possesses initiative with a proactive attitude to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QC laboratory operations and align resources with testing needs.
• Be the primary point of contact for Manufacturing and other departments for the shift.
• Perform the most complex chemical testing of intermediate and finished products.
• Maintain QC instrument operation and reliability and troubleshoot instruments.
• Train others on current test methods and assist with new method implementations.
• Audit data and ensure GMP compliance and notebook/file maintenance.
• Support product release and process validation through testing and investigations.
