Zusammenfassung

Streck, a Nebraska-based manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician who will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and standardize OEM and QC instruments in line with FDA, ISO, and Streck quality systems. You'll perform instrument startup, shutdown, and quality control with support from senior technicians, a service engineer, and manufacturer resources.

You'll report to the QC Laboratory Supervisor.

Qualifikationen

• Requires high school diploma or GED; relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency with clinical laboratory instruments and understanding their function (hematology, chemistry, molecular, body fluids, flow cytometry).
• Fundamental understanding of quality systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to follow documents and procedures carefully while working efficiently.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot and repair OEM and QC laboratory instruments of low to medium complexity, with support as needed.
• Perform instrument calibration and standardization per instructions.
• Coordinate visits from manufacturer field service representatives for repairs and maintenance.
• Perform incoming inspection and testing on new OEM instruments.
• Assist with new instrument installation, validation, and software upgrades.
• Support instrument technicians with startup, shutdown, quality control, reagent exchange, and routine maintenance.
• Document instrument tasks accurately and timely in records and computer systems.
• Report instrument performance information to QC instrument management and other personnel.
• Take on other duties as assigned by Quality Control management.
