Job summary

Streck, Inc. is seeking a diligent Lab Instrument Technician to maintain and troubleshoot clinical laboratory instruments. You will repair low to medium complexity equipment, calibrate systems, and support instrument start-up and software upgrades in a regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with relevant experience, and a basic understanding of quality systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and the role offers a collaborative, team-focused

Qualifications

• Proficiency operating clinical lab instruments (hematology, chemistry, molecular, body fluids, flow cytometry).
• Fundamental understanding of quality systems and procedures.
• Ability to follow documents and procedures precisely while working efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair lab instruments of low to medium complexity with help from seniors and manufacturer resources.
• Perform instrument calibration and standardization per work instructions.
• Coordinate visits from manufacturer for in-house or service-covered repairs.
• Perform incoming inspection and testing on new OEM instruments.
• Assist with installation, validation, and software upgrades for new instruments.
