Job summary

Cactus Wellhead LLC in Odessa, TX is seeking a shop teammate to perform a wide variety of tasks to assemble and test all Cactus or customer products.

Essential duties include inspecting, aligning, testing, and adjusting components; reading assembly drawings; maintaining parts; and following safety and quality policies. A high school diploma or GED (or 2 years related experience) is required. On-site work with a collaborative team environment is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 2 years related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test products to verify function and conformance.
• Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify conformance to requirements.
• Position and align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
• Verify parts clearances and fit up.
• Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings or operation manuals.
• Maintain and lubricate parts or components.
• Remove rough spots and smooth surfaces to fit, trim or clean parts, using hand/power tools.
• Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.
