Job summary

JGM is seeking a QC Inspector to join our team. The role will inspect raw materials, in-process work, and finished products for conformance to shop drawings and codes.

Responsibilities include layout inspections with precision instruments, verification at all stages, and maintaining inspection records. Seven years in steel fabrication and CWI preferred; safety-focused, team-oriented candidate required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; minimum 7 years related experience in steel fabrication.
• Strong reading of blueprints; understanding welding symbols and inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform layout inspections using precision instruments to verify conformance with drawings and specifications.
• Verify quality at incoming, in-process, and finished product stages.
• Inspect welds, bolts, coatings, and assemblies; compare with drawings and standards.
