Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Production Technician - Plastics to join our biotechnology client's manufacturing team in Pleasanton, CA. This role supports production, inspection, and quality control of plastic consumables used in life sciences.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing or quality experience, attention to detail, and familiarity with inspection equipment and GMP/GDP documentation. This is a 6-month contract onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of production or quality experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in biotechnology, life science instrumentation, or semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 quality standards.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets and ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Experience operating CMM equipment and generating metrology reports is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Process plastic consumable components and inspect for visual defects.
• Operate optical measurement equipment and accurately record inspection readings.
• Generate inspection reports and maintain production documentation in GMP/GDP practices.
• Transport materials between staging areas and manufacturing operations.
• Follow established work instructions, quality control procedures, and safety protocols.
• Support compliance with applicable manufacturing and regulatory standards.

Yoh is seeking a Production Technician - Plastics to join our biotechnology client's manufacturing team in Pleasanton, CA. This position will support the production, inspection, and quality control of plastic consumable products used in life science applications.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing or quality experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with operating inspection equipment and maintaining accurate production documentation.

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
Compensation: $35-40 per hr (Depending on experience)
Type: Contract (6 monthsability to extend or go perm)

Estimated Min Rate: $19.60
Estimated Max Rate: $28.00

Actual compensation will be determined based on the approved pay range, relevant experience, qualifications, and applicable requirements.
