Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC, a merged entity with Tecomet, seeks a Quality Control Inspector III at our Farmington Hills, MI site. You will perform in-process and final inspections of orthopedic implants components, ensuring GD&T compliance and meticulous documentation per QMS.

Responsibilities include data collection, SPC analysis, first article inspections, and training of junior inspectors. Strong attention to detail, hands-on metrology skills, and experience with calibration and gage control

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Associates of Science preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Experience in Quality Inspection and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
• ASQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to Orchid requirements in inspection and record keeping.
• Collect inspection data and report results.
• Maintain accurate documentation at all times during manufacturing and inspection per GMP.
• Perform First Article Inspections and subsequent inspections against customer requirements.
• Use handheld inspection tools for measurement such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, optical comparator, gage blocks, and dial indicators.
• Train inspection personnel and provide guidance to other inspectors.
