Job summary

Orchid MPS Holdings, LLC in Memphis, TN invites applications for a Quality Control Inspector I. Under supervision, you will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections, and conduct lab tests per Orchid specifications. You will maintain records and ensure compliance with QMS while supporting production needs.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, GD&T proficiency, and accurate data entry. No prior experience is required, but preferred candidates have related quality/lean manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• No prior work experience required.
• Experience in a Scientific Field (Preferred).
• Experience in Quality Inspection and Lean Manufacturing (Preferred).
• 1+ Year of Prior Relevant Experience (Preferred).
• Candidates may be required to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving and final inspection per Orchid and/or customer specifications.
• Perform in-process inspection per Orchid and/or customer specifications.
• Perform lab testing per Orchid specifications.
• Maintain records of inspection, testing, and calibration.
• Work modified schedules to support production requirements as necessary.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Ensure compliance to Orchid requirements in inspection and record keeping.
• Collect inspection data and report results.
• Complete First Article Inspections and related packaging inspections.
• Train inspection personnel.
