Benoit Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Specialist I (Days) in Houma, LA, to inspect Benoit products, interpret drawings, and verify measurement devices. You will ensure products meet API and internal tolerances, document findings, and support production with calibration verification and proper sign‑offs.

The role emphasizes accuracy, procedure enforcement, and collaboration with machine operators and supervisors. A technical background and quality‑focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Management or related field, or High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years manufacturing experience.
• 1–3 years Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience
• Experience with audits (internal & external)
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in gauge set‑up and calibration

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for conformance to requirements and document results.
• Perform First Article Inspection before production begins.
• Verify CNC operators applied identification numbers and ensure traceability.
• Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and within tolerances.
• Coordinate with shop personnel to inspect products as required.
