Benoit Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Specialist I - Nights in Houma, LA. The role inspects manufactured parts, ensuring conformance to specifications and SOPs, with authority from the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include performing first article inspections, logging results, and ensuring traceability and API monogram usage. The ideal candidate has an engineering/management background or a relevant diploma with manufacturing quality experience, and proficient documentation and

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in gauge setup and calibration.
• Experience with quality audits (internal & external).
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work in office, warehouse, production, or outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Perform and document First Article Inspections prior to production.
• Record inspection results on daily logs and sign off on work orders.
• Verify traceability and API monogram application.
• Assist operators with gauge set-ups and lathe set-ups as needed.
• Coordinate with Quality leadership and shop personnel to inspect products.
