Job summary

Diamond C in Mount Pleasant, TX, is seeking a QC Inspector I to join our manufacturing quality team. This entry-level role focuses on ensuring parts meet strict production standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will read blueprints, use inspection tools (micrometer, thickness gauges, tape measures, level), and identify non-conforming parts while supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement with teammates.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Powder coat process experience highly desired.
• Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems highly desired.
• General knowledge on operating computers, tablets, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.
• Using inspection tools such as micrometer, paint thickness gauges, tape measure, level, etc.
• Removing or rejecting products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality.
• Performing inspections in accordance to random sampling plan to assess product quality.
