Job description

Able to perform basic part inspection using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. However, strength in systems and paperwork is essential.

Prepare 1st Article and In-Process Inspection Reports.

Determine and assign the appropriate gage for each characteristic when preparing Inspection Reports.

Training will be provided for our specific environment, but understanding of inspection concepts is required.

Audit completed paperwork for traceability and accuracy, with a focus on attention to detail, troubleshooting, and identifying necessary corrections.

Coordinate with Suppliers via email and with Team members in person to ensure corrections are made as needed.

Knowledge of DISCUS software (our blueprint ballooning software) is helpful.

Experience with AS9100 auditing or record keeping is advantageous.
