1. Perform basic part inspections using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
2. Prepare 1st Article and In-Process Inspection Reports, assigning appropriate gauges for each characteristic.
3. Understand inspection concepts; training available for our specific environment.
4. Audit completed paperwork for traceability and accuracy, demonstrating attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
5. Interface with suppliers via email and with team members in person to facilitate corrections.
6. Knowledge of DISCUS software (our blueprint ballooning software) is helpful.
7. Knowledge of AS9100 auditing or record-keeping is beneficial.
