This full-time position requires a detail-oriented individual responsible for part inspections, managing paperwork and systems, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot issues are critical for success in this role.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for the aerospace industry, responsible for basic part inspection using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. The ideal candidate should also have strong skills in systems and paperwork management.
Responsibilities include preparing 1st Article and In-Process Inspection Reports, selecting appropriate gauges for each characteristic, and auditing completed paperwork for traceability and accuracy. Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills are essential to identify and correct issues.
The role involves interfacing with suppliers via email and collaborating with Amco Team members in person to facilitate corrections. Knowledge of DISCUS software, our blueprint ballooning software, is helpful, as is familiarity with AS9100 auditing or record-keeping standards.
Training will be provided for our specific environment, but a solid understanding of inspection concepts is required.
