Job summary

Dept_PhysLoc_OrgGroup seeks a Quality Inspector to monitor the aesthetic quality of anodized parts and to track production quantities. The role involves documenting color/visual defects and ensuring proper segregation and labeling of poor-quality items.

You will print reports, maintain accurate counts, and communicate issues to shift teams to maintain production integrity. Standards must be followed to meet customer order quantities and packaging requirements.

Qualifications

• Monitor and document the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts.
• Record production quantities in Syteline.
• Ensure proper packaging of each part per job card, including accurate counts per box and boxes per skid.
• Provide timely communication to line operators and teams regarding quality issues and quantity shortages.
• Print production reports, labels, and job cards using SyteLine ERP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document the aesthetic quality of anodized parts.
• Track production quantities against the schedule and record them in the ERP.
• Communicate quality issues to affected teams to prevent defects and shortages.
• Ensure correct packaging, labeling, and packaging materials for shipped parts.
• Maintain clean work area and support data entry as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and documenting the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts and the quantity of parts produced. The Inspector is also responsible for the proper segregation and identification of poor quality product, and for sorting product according to specified criteria.

• Monitor and document the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts.
• Monitor the quantity of parts produced compared to production schedule.
• Record production quantities in Syteline.
• Provide timely and complete communication to Line Operators, Crew Leader, Process Assistant and all other impacted operations and functional teams regarding quality issues and quantity shortages.
• Provide adequate and relevant information to incoming shift team members.
• Ensure proper packaging of each part per job card, including accurate number of parts per box, boxes per skid and proper packaging materials.
• Ensure all required customer order quantities are met
• Print all necessary production reports, labels, and job cards using SyteLine ERP system.
• Complete data entry activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform all other duties as needed.
