Job summary

Dept_PhysLoc_OrgGroup in New Albany, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector to monitor aesthetic quality of anodized parts and oversee production quantities. The role includes documenting color and defects and ensuring proper segregation of poor quality product.

You will use SyteLine ERP to print reports and enter data, coordinate with line operators and teams, and ensure packaging and quantities meet customer orders.

Responsibilities

• Track production quantities against schedule.

• Communicate quality and quantity issues to line operators and teams.
• Provide information to incoming shift team members.
• Ensure correct packaging per job card and quantities.
• Meet customer order quantities.
• Print production reports, labels and job cards in SyteLine.
• Complete data entry activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as needed.

JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and documenting the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts and the quantity of parts produced. The Inspector is also responsible for the proper segregation and identification of poor quality product, and for sorting product according to specified criteria.

• Monitor and document the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts.
• Monitor the quantity of parts produced compared to production schedule.
• Record production quantities in Syteline.
• Provide timely and complete communication to Line Operators, Crew Leader, Process Assistant and all other impacted operations and functional teams regarding quality issues and quantity shortages.
• Provide adequate and relevant information to incoming shift team members.
• Ensure proper packaging of each part per job card, including accurate number of parts per box, boxes per skid and proper packaging materials.
• Ensure all required customer order quantities are met
• Print all necessary production reports, labels, and job cards using SyteLine ERP system.
• Complete data entry activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform all other duties as needed.
