Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to ensure they meet required drawings and specifications.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports for any items not adhering to specifications.
  • Ensure that manufactured units comply with quality control procedures, engineering specs, and customer requirements.
  • Initiate corrective action requests for recurring quality issues.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing management and process teams to resolve quality problems.
  • Complete, inspect, and distribute all relevant quality records and documents.
  • Perform specialized testing and verify results on components and completed assemblies.
  • Support the QMS by creating, editing, and reviewing documents in line with Baker Hughes global standards.
  • Conduct qualitative risk assessments, root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a Quality Technician or Inspection role preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Understanding of defects and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
