System One, Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform dimensional inspections on machined components to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. The role requires experience with CMMs and precision measuring tools, plus the ability to read GD&T.

Formación

• Experience performing dimensional inspections on machined parts.
• Proficiency with CMMs, Faro Arms, or similar electronic measuring equipment.
• Skilled in the use of precision hand measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Experience with receiving/receipt inspections preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform dimensional inspections on machined components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Utilize electronic inspection equipment including: CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), Faro Arm, and other precision measurement systems.
• Conduct inspections using dimensional hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, depth gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges.
• Verify tolerances and specifications, including tight tolerance requirements (+/-).
• Perform receiving/receipt inspections on incoming materials and components.
• Document inspection results and support quality assurance processes.
