Job summary

VRS Recruitment is seeking a Quality Control Chemist in the Charlotte area to perform QC testing for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. You will run and troubleshoot HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and FTIR, and prepare samples using SPE, LLE, and dissolution techniques in a cGMP-compliant environment.

The role requires a BSc in Chemistry with hands-on HPLC/GC experience and GMP/GLP exposure. US citizenship or a Green Card is required, with a 2nd shift schedule and a competitive benefits package including

Qualifications

Minimum of BSc degree in Chemistry is required.
Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
Analytical experience in a GMP/GLP facility is desired.
US citizenship or Green Card required.
Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

Quality control testing for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals in complex matrices.
Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and FTIR.
Prepare samples using SPE, LLE, and dissolution and utilize foundational laboratory and wet chemistry techniques.
Adhere to cGMP, FDA, ICH, and ISO requirements.
