Job summary

VRS Recruitment is seeking a Quality Control Chemist in the Charlotte area to perform QC testing for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. You will run and troubleshoot HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and FTIR, and prepare samples using SPE, LLE, and dissolution techniques in a cGMP-compliant environment.

The role requires a BSc in Chemistry with hands-on HPLC/GC experience and GMP/GLP exposure. US citizenship or a Green Card is required, with a 2nd shift schedule and a competitive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Minimum of BSc degree in Chemistry is required.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• Analytical experience in a GMP/GLP facility is desired.
• US citizenship or Green Card required.
• Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Quality control testing for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals in complex matrices.
• Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation including HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and FTIR.
• Prepare samples using SPE, LLE, and dissolution and utilize foundational laboratory and wet chemistry techniques.
• Adhere to cGMP, FDA, ICH, and ISO requirements.

• Prepare samples using techniques such as SPE, LLE, and dissolution and utilize foundational laboratory and wet chemistry techniques
• Adhere to cGMP, FDA, ICH, and ISO requirements

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of BSc degree in Chemistry is required
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC

• $70-80K annual base salary commensurate with experience
