  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline
  • 2–3 years of industrial chemistry experience in quality control or analytical laboratory setting
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC
  • Proficiency interpreting chromatography and analytical data
  • Strong mathematical and analytical calculation skills
  • Experience in GMP or other regulated quality systems
  • Minimum 2 years using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and documentation
  • Ability to write clear procedures, test methods, protocols, and specifications
  • Ability to perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in lab and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly

Responsibilities

  • Perform release and in-process testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
  • Execute wet chemistry and analytical chemistry techniques to support QC activities
  • Interpret chromatography and analytical data using lab data management systems
  • Evaluate analytical results against specifications and support material release decisions
  • Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions for routine and non-routine testing
  • Maintain GMP laboratory documentation
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation
  • Conduct calculations related to analytical testing and data evaluation
  • Review data from validation activities and method development
  • Write and revise procedures, test methods, and specifications
  • Support customer complaints, returns, and investigations with analytical documentation
  • Train and mentor laboratory personnel to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with lab and manufacturing teams to meet schedules and deadlines

About This Role

We're seeking an analytical chemist to join our quality control team and take ownership of complex laboratory testing and method development. In this hands-on role, you'll interpret chromatography data, maintain GMP documentation, and work directly with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
Required

  • Demonstrated experience preparing and standardizing volumetric solutions and performing wet chemistry techniques
  • Ability to write clear procedures, test methods, protocols, and specifications
  • Capability to perform routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in laboratory and manufacturing environments

Position Details
  • Schedule:Sunday–Thursday, 11 p.m.–7 a.m.
  • Location:On-site (candidates must reside within 30 miles; relocation assistance not available)
  • Salary:$60,000–$65,000 annually
