Northway Biotech, Inc. is seeking a skilled Analytical Development Scientist to optimize assays for proteins and biomolecules.

You will perform method development for identity, purity, aggregation, and post-translational modifications using chromatography and electrophoresis, supporting process development and test release activities in a fast-paced startup environment. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in analytical development and quality control within pharma/biotech.
• Experience characterizing protein structure including molecular weight and aggregation state.
• Experience with enzyme protein and mAb intact mass analysis, peptide mapping by LC-MS preferred.
• Understanding of post-translational modifications and developability liabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of protein/biomolecule assay development, optimization, qualification, and validation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Optimize, qualify, and validate assays for proteins and biomolecules.
• Develop methods for identity, purity, aggregation, charge isoforms, and potency using chromatography and electrophoresis.
• Support upstream/downstream process development and release/testing activities.
• Perform MS analysis of intact proteins and fragment mapping by LC-MS.
• Generate, manage, and curate data in an organized manner.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on projects and document findings.
• Interpret data and contribute to technical reports.
