Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to enforce codes and specifications on site. The role requires API licensing (API 510, 750, 653) and hands-on field experience, with a focus on auditing, documentation, and compliance with safety rules.

The candidate will perform records maintenance, use tools appropriately, and follow project procedures while ensuring quality and safety standards are met on every task.

Qualifications

• Journeyman with 3+ years field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently.
• Must be API Licensed (API 510, API 750, API 653).

SUMMARY

Inspects accepts and/or rejects work performed in compliance with applicable codes and specifications. Must be API Licensed. API 510, API 750 and API 653.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding and working knowledge of the company quality control program, company standards, procedures and codes.
• Performs audits to ensure compliance
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

Journeyman - Typically 3 years and above documented field experience in chosen craft discipline with ability to read and interpret instructions and document, plan and perform work activities independently. Must be API Licensed. API 510, API 750 and API 653.
