Qualifications

4+ years performing Agile software quality assurance across full SDLC
2+ years designing and maintaining automation frameworks
2+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
Experience with AI powered QA tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Playwright)
Ability to obtain Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination
Bachelor’s degree
Clear background and drug screening

Responsibilities

Build and optimize robust automation frameworks for web apps and APIs
Perform automated and manual testing including regression, usability, UAT, API validation
Implement and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines to support test automation

In this position, you'll support enterprise‑level data, analytics, and application modernization efforts. This role is central to ensuring that mission‑critical public health systems are stable, intuitive, secure, and fully validated before deployment to CDC stakeholders. The selected engineer will be responsible for building automated test frameworks, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and driving continuous improvement across the entire QA lifecycle. The LCNC QA Tester will work within a fast‑paced, agile environment, partnering closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA professionals to validate functionality, identify defects early, and ensure seamless delivery of high‑quality applications. This role requires deep expertise in automated testing and the ability to architect scalable test environments using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Docker. The engineer will apply advanced testing techniques— including AI‑enhanced automation— to accelerate validation, expand coverage, and reduce manual testing overhead.

Responsibilities

Build andoptimizerobust automation frameworks for web applications and APIs, create scalablecloud‑basedtest environments (AWS, Azure, Docker), and implementAI‑enhancedtesting approaches using tools like GitHub Copilot or Agentic UI Automation.
Perform automated and manual testing—including regression, usability, UAT, and API validation to ensure fullend‑to‑endfunctionality andhigh‑qualitysystem performance.
Implement, refine, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelinesusingAzure DevOpsto support seamless, reliable test automation and continuous delivery.
Partner closely with developers, analysts, and QA teammates to define test strategies, document and communicate defects, track issue resolution, and continuously improve test coverage, frameworks, and team processes.
Mentor junior QA staff, estimate testing efforts, share knowledge,maintainthorough test documentation, and ensure all applications meet established quality, compliance, functional, and performance benchmarks.

Qualifications

4+ years performing Agile software quality assurancebuilding and executing test plansacross full SDLC effortsfor Low Code, No Code and pro-code solutions
2+ years designing andmaintainingautomation frameworks
2+ years implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
Experience withAI poweredQA (ex.,GitHub Copilot,Playwright)
Ability to obtain andmaintaina Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Successfully pass background and drug screening.
