Job summary

ISN is seeking a QA Tester to help develop quality products through comprehensive testing and documentation. The role requires building test plans, cases and reports, and expanding automated testing using modern tools.

The candidate will work with Software Development teams to ensure usability and functionality of web-based UI and data-intensive processes, while handling multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in software testing, including creation of test plans, test cases and test reports.
• 2+ years’ experience in automated testing using Playwright/Selenium/ or similar tools.
• Experience using Azure DevOps/Jira or similar tool is required.
• Experience in API Testing using Postman/Swagger or similar tools.
• Experience working in .Net, VB, SQL, HTML and JavaScript environment.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review product requirements, identify potential defects/risks, and develop test plans.
• Develop product feature expertise by working closely with Software Development teams and stakeholders regarding product usability and functionality.
• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test strategy for web-based UI products and data intensive processes.
• Develop documentation for defects/risks reporting in order to support product development and testing.
• Create and execute functional and regression testing using automation at the application and systems level.
• Develop frequent tests after new product releases, upgrades, or maintenance.

The Position:

The QA Tester will assist in the development of quality products through the management of testing and documentation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Job Location:

• Employees must be within a commutable distance to the Dallas, TX office. Relocation is required for candidates not already local to the DFW area.
• In-office attendance up to two times per week for the first 90 days of employment.
• After 90 days completion, you will have an option to work remotely with at least 1 in-person engagement required monthly (team collaboration day, ISN events, team events, performance reviews, etc.).
