Job summary

Qualifications

• 15 years of QA/testing experience.
• Strong PeopleSoft HCM experience; 8–10 years preferred.
• Hands-on testing with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• Manual testing focused; automation not required.
• Ability to own testing lifecycle and work independently.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, test case creation, and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own testing lifecycle and testing activities.
• Translate business requirements into effective testing scenarios.
• Create and execute test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
• Support unit, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with clients, developers, and business users; guide UAT.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented QA Test Specialist. This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in San Antonio, TX(Onsite).

Pay Range: $80 - $85/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Testing experience, PeopleSoft HCM
• 15 years of QA/testing experience preferred, with strong experience owning testing activities independently.
• Strong PeopleSoft HCM experience; ideally 8–10 years; deep expertise is preferred but overall QA strength is equally important.
• Hands‑on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 preferred.
• Strong experience with:
• SIT and UAT
• Building test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
• Unit testing support and validation
• Functional, integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing
• Validating PeopleSoft configuration and enhancements
• Defect identification, documentation, tracking and resolution
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM business processes/modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting/TAM, etc.
• Ability to work directly with client stakeholders and business users, explain functionality, answer questions and guide users through UAT.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios.
• Strong collaboration skills with functional consultants, developers, and technical teams.
• Manual testing experience is the priority; automation testing is not required.
• Must be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the testing lifecycle.
